BurnedGlobe's guilty spark push force idea V.2

I made a thread like this a while back, but it got alot of unfair hate because it was “overpowered” So I have revised it to make it better.

Remember how in halo 3 you fought guilty spark, and he had the Ability to push you away with some sort of force-like ability when you got too close? Well here is an Idea that can help you out.

Placed on the map is an equipment Item that looks like a hologram of 343 guilty spark. You run up to it and pick it up, and then you have temporarily this ability.

When you press the equipment button, it releases a pulsing of energy blasting in all directions out from you. The pulsing pushes away all objects near to you weather enemy players, bots, vehicles, or objects. It also pushes away incoming rocket launcher and needler rounds as well as grenades. The pulsing lasts seven seconds, and takes 30 seconds to recharge. You can use it 3 times before it becomes useless and it is discarded.

Another version of this is an auto-turret like thing. Basically you throw it down like an auto-turret, and it behaves similar to one as well. When it notices hostile object coming near you, it will deflect them away at once. It is able to deflect all forms of bullets/plasma charges and rounds, but the things have to be in it’s field of vision as well. It will face whatever direction you face it in, but can also turn 90 degrees in each direction (up down side side diagonal) occasionally. Also It’s range is much farther than the above Idea.

These ideas still seem overpowered to me, and honestly not very fun. They’re basically bubble shields on steroids with no counters (armour lock anyone?).

This is a freaking badass Idea. I would deffinately use it. Keep up the good work.

Abandon the first Idea, and just go with the auto-turret Idea, but dumb it down a bit and make it less long lasting.

No. No pickups should recharge. They all need to be one time uses like Halo 3.

This, it isn’t that bad of an idea if it where pickup and one-time use, like Halo 3. That way people would save it till the moment is just right and not spam it all the time.

I like the second 1 but not the first
