Bungie's Collection Stats

As all of us know, Bungie’s just ran the last lap of Halo’s race. We all have our deep feelings on this subject, some of us dedicated to all of their games, not just Halo, others, feel a part of their history has passed, others, had the best 11 years of their life, but that’s beside the point.

To those who missed it, or never have been on Bungie.net, here is the collection of stats, starting with the year of Halo 2’s release. So, here it is.

Kind of makes me want to play the track “Finish the Fight” from Halo 3 :’]

And when I say bleed through favors melee… That’s exactly what I meant. Just look at the medals… Halo 3 thought people to weaken shield and melee. A lot. Reach focused on getting that dome shot.

Hey, woah, I just noticed that! Halo 3 had 16.1 billion melee medals, yet Reach had more headshots, 6.5 billion of them. Funny, I always seemed to go for melee kills in Reach, let me check my stats.

EDIT: Funny, I got MORE headshots than melee medals.

Even in halo 3, it’s best to always go for headshots and never enter melee range. But when people do get close enough… It’s easier to get a melee kill in Halo 3 than in Reach.

H3:
3 BR shots and a melee = kill

Reach:
4 DMR shots and melee= kill
(However if you turn bleedthrough on, it’s 3 DMR shots and melee)

Also with the constant threat of armor lock, players learn quickly to stay out of melee range and aim for the head.

Haha I think I saw this a while go somewhere. It marks the end of an era for me at least :frowning:
