Bungie's Awesome attention to detail

After replaying Halo 2 on legendary, I came across something obvious, but very interesting and worth noting. On the Brute mission: Uprising, I noticed just how well Bungie incorporated small in-game elements to build on character., specifically that of the Brutes. In their stronghold it turns out Brutes have been stashing UNSC weaponry and ammunition, I have even noticed Brutes using human shotguns, I don’t know about you, but this is awesome, small details like this!! This also teaches us that Brutes are very adaptive and makeshift creatures, I think if they are reintroduced in Halo Infinite their weaponry should look rough, sturdy and makeshift, Brutes in foreign human environments should act accordingly, initially using melee weapons and maybe spears, and upgrading their weaponry by picking it up from dead UNSC soldiers.

They always remind me of the Orkz from Warhammer 40K in that regard
I absolutely love this idea mate. Very primitive weaponry until they pick up guns from the fallen UNSC.

And then they got lazy in H3 and onward. Only time Brutes had human weapons was when they were piloting Banshees. Sure they might have put in Elite Ultra corpses on the crashed Floodgate ship and Elite corpses on ODST, but it wouldn’t have hurt to have live variants in play (in ODST’s case, this would mean the return of 3-way battles between multiple factions). Plus they should have put the normal magnum/smg into ODST, it felt weird seeing every marine spawning with the silenced variants.

Couldn’t agree more my friend! Bungie definitely had their own uniqueness when it came to Halo and is one of the reasons I was really upset when they left for PlayStation but hey hoy
