I know it’s WAY LATE for this but I think Windows 343 has NO BUISSINESS RUNNING THE HALO SERIES!!! From the beginning to the end we were all loyal to bungie and they returned that loyalty until the last minute! I think it’s finally time we did THEM a favor! I mean sure they stumbled a few times in the making of the games but those very few times were NOT enough to justify them getting fired of ALL things! I think that if we all work together on this we can bring them back! There is only one way to do that! LETS PUT WINDOWS 343 STUDIOS IN THIER GRAVES!! Halo 4 is okay of course but NOTHING compared to what bungie can do if given the time!Tell EVERY GAMER YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS AND WELL BRING BACK THE FALLEN! Now whos with me?!
Kid, Bungie doesn’t want to make Halo games at the moment. The studio, which I still love, made 5 Halo games in a row. Let them take a break and work on something they want to work on.
sigh… Microsoft didn’t fire bungie, they’re contract ended after they made Halo Reach and they are now working on other games for muliple platforms other than just xbox. Bungie does not own the Halo IP, Microsoft does, and 343 consists of some of the most prominent members from the original Halo dev team, like the franchise director Frank O’Connor.
The “Windows 343” bit makes me think this might just be a troll.
Bungie did a great job in Halo 1 and 2. An ok job on Halo 3, and utterly DESTROYED Reach. It was sheer trash. Halo needed new blood. And 343i has breathed great life into the series so far with Halo Anniversary, and the novel series.
Halo 4 is also shaping up to at the very least be better than Reach. Which is all they’d have to do to give me hope that they will make Halo great again.
I’d also like to point out that Bungie hasn’t been fired. Their contract with Microsoft was at an end, and they simply didn’t go into a new one. If they’d wanted to continue Halo they had the choice to.

Not in Halo, but they are making a new game called Destiny. And I think 343 knows what they’re doing with Halo. Bungie also doesn’t suck at making Halo, or you wouldn’t be here complaining about it.
Bungie was owned by Microsoft from 2000 to 2007 when it became an independent company, signing over the rights to the intellectual property for Halo. The rights to Halo are owned by Microsoft. Microsoft created a directly-owned publishing studio for Halo - 343 Industries. Bungie is now signed on with ActiVision-Blizzard for a 10-year contract. They ain’t coming back any time soon.
