So yeah. Bungie favorites was a great feature in halo 3 that recognized members who go above and beyond the call for Video’s, and maps. But now it’s gone and people have to do tons of extra work to get recognized. So I feel it should return in halo 4 with a playlist that get’s updated weekly to feature the members game and maps. So what do you think

Personally i’d LOVE to see this return, the current MOST downloaded/recommended system is officially a piece of… Yeah you know. Pervy anime, clan recruitment and what not! 343i favorites should be in Halo 4.

Same here, but I think Bungie stopped doing that w/ Reach b/c the community pretty much has this covered w/ sites like ForgeHub, XForgery, etc. that have their own “Favorites” or “Map Spotlights” that highlight some of the best work by the community.
I’d really like to see the Waypoint community get in on something like this where each week we throw some of the latest works up by the community and vote for our favorites. If the map and/or gametype achieves the minimum-required votes then it will get spotlighted.

Yeah I agree it’s really hard to find good stuff on the new system

Exactly, the new system was good in theory but sadly it didn’t work out quite as intended, I’m personally fed up with naughty forge pics and/or clan recruitment pics/fakes super stat pics.
Bungie favourites were a lot better, only downside is that I doubt 343i wants to manage it and check all new submissions, hence the current system. Well, I think we all can agree that something ought to be done, so that we once again can find good pics/maps/gametypes.
I would love to see a system where people could bundle map + gametype, so that when you download a map for a specific gamtype, that is added to the download. Or that we can choose in categories, say : Gametype: Race: Solo race: map, map 2, map 3.
Gametype: Slayer: Custom slayer: slayer type 1, slayer type 2: map for slayer type chosen: map 1, map 2.
