So as of March 31st, Bungie will be dropping support for the Halo Reach API. Does anyone know if Halo Waypoint has a similar service? Any information from actual employees is greatly appreciated.
Not quite sure what you mean by API? Active Player Index? So you can see a feed of live game results no one out of the ordinary usually cares about?

API: Application Programming Interface (I believe)
> A new feature added to Halo: Reach is the opportunity to become a third-party developer using the Halo: Reach Stats API. This means that you can create web sites or mobile applications (like an iPhone app) that can consume Halo: Reach statistics. Understand that this key is only necesary to create such applications, and is not necessary to use them or access any stats from bungie.net. For more information, including documentation, the terms of use, and a community of developers, check out the Halo: Reach Stats API Group.

An API is a way for programmers to access information from the database without the use of a user interface. It allows for access to raw data so we can incorporate it into our own applications. Check this out: http://www.haloreachapi.net/wiki/Main_Page
