I remember the night the blue flames became available to iPod Touch owners. It wasn’t widely-known yet, as it was a few weeks before Bungie Day 2011, and there wasn’t news about it on Bungie.net. A few users just randomly happened upon the feature on their iPods, and my friend and I were some of them. We unlocked those flames and the Bungie plate and equipped them, and matchmade all night. It might have been kind of mean, but we had a blast responding to all the messages about us being Bungie employees.
Those were a fun few weeks. I eventually switched back to my Legendary flames, though. I kind of prefer them. Though I also tend to switch according to which team I’m on.
