Bungie are not making this game.

No doubt you’re thinking to yourself, “Where has this guy been?”, and that would be perfectly understandable. But I’m not here to clarify that fact, but to remind you of it. I want to know how you feel about 343i creating Halo 4 instead. Do you feel worried, relieved, apathetic, or happy about it? Please discuss.

I’m personally excited about this fact. Bungie have been getting tired of creating Halo games – and perhaps rightfully so after a decade of creating them. I think it is great that Bungie will get to move on and create new games, while a trustworthy company has been created to oversee and continue the franchise.

Talking about 343i, they seem promising and I have liked most of what they done so far. Their internal team seems to be composed of various talented individuals, whom all care greatly for the series. Products like Halo Waypoint, Halo: CEA, Halo: Evolutions, and the Forerunner trilogy consolidate that fact. And what I have currently seen of Halo 4 is pretty reassuring as well.

Switching developers may also make the experience seem more fresh, as we it promises that newer people, who are eager to work on the series, will be working on it. This “freshness” should hopefully make the game much more enjoyable and be able to increase its popularity. But enough about my opinion, how do you feel about 343i creating Halo 4 and subsequent Halo games?

you don’t say? Bungie’s not making this game??

Master Chief is a Spartan, guys.

Honestly, I am sort of happy. Reach was a big letdown after how much it was hyped up by the fans and Bungie.

I am excited to see what 343i brings to the table.

Wow, neither of you even bothered to read past the first sentence?

Well, I did. Not sure of the other guy though.

It’s old news, and this could be posted elsewhere anyway.

> Wow, neither of you even bothered to read past the first sentence?

No doubt you’re think to yourself, “Where has this guy been?”, and that would be perfectly understandable.

I think they had a hard time getting over your arrogance.

i was referring to the title (which has poor grammar.)

Don’t get me wrong, I was a Bungie fan, but I feel 343i can take Halo to a brand new era.

Well seeing the amount of Ex Bungie Employees within 343i
who’s to say they’re not making it?

No one can judge till November 6th just speculate and lose their minds with worry.
I trust em because they made halo anniversary a fun game.

What arrogance? Such a “revelation” would appear out-of-date, and I would look quite silly for not knowing that, especially when you consider the fact that I post on 343i’s website. However, what wasn’t warranted was people attacking me and derailing my thread because of a -Yoinking!- title.

> i was referring to the title (which has poor grammar.)

There wasn’t a single grammatically-incorrect thing about that title.

But it wasn’t intended to be news. I was actually intending to remind you of that, and i wanted to know how you felt about it, hoping to generate a discussion off of that.

The way someone addresses others, whether it be in real life or on some forums, affects people’s responses towards that person. The fact that the OP was slightly arrogant at first lead to many negative replies towards his topic.

On Topic: Those guys are correct. OP, you are extremely late, but thanks for sharing your opinion on the transition from Bungie to 343i.

Bungie IS not making this game

not are, is. It sounds 10 times better

also, it should be "there wasn’t a single grammatically-incorrect THING about THE title

when people go onto theses forums, they’ll react according to the way you spell and use correct grammar

If this thread continues to veer off topic, I’ll have to lock it down. :frowning:

There’s nothing arrogant about his statement. Learn to read and comprehend before you go insulting people.

i think he was referring to the grammatical mistakes

back to the OP: though, it will be a little weird that bungie is not making this game
