Bumper jumper transition

I recently switched to bumper jumper from default settings. Like most, I stray from switching but as soon as I got used to it, it was so good. It allows you to not beg while strafing and aiming in is so much more effective. If the movement is too difficult, try recon. Also have a sensitivity of 3,3,1.5,3

I’ve been using Bumper Jumper for a few years now. Best choice I ever made. Combined with an Elite Controller, perfect.

I’ve just been using default settings all this time! I will try out other settings

I recommend trying Bumper Jumper!
Basically allows you to keep both of your thumbs on the sticks at all times.
Meaning you can jump and aim at the same time. It’s the small advantages like that which you can really benefit from.

Same here… I switched when H5 first came out. I like it much better. I played campaign until I got used to it. Unfortunately I naded myself in the face too many times to count… lol.

I tried practice movement on coliseum. I tried clambering and somehow boosted, spartan charged, naded myself and almost ground pounded

You should stick with default settings. Bumper Jumper is useless in my opinion.

Na being able to jump and aim without taking your thumb off the right stick is important. It’s claw grip but better

Bumper jumper is extremely useful. My buddies who are champs taught me this. Bumper jumper allows you to move effectively while being ready to fight. It’s extremely easy to spring jump with as well as strafe because when crouching on default, you are forced to peg which brings you at a heavy disadvantage.

Honestly I’m Diamond 4 and continuing up and it hasn’t been much of a problem running default controls and 9,9,5. It all just depends on peoples play style if lol

Welcome to enlightenment! I’ve been playing bumper jumper since H3. It took a bit of getting used to, but it improved my gameplay a lot in the long run

Weird how you guys mention taking your thumbs off the stick. I just play default settings and throughout playing halo 5 I developed into playing claw. I play with the default control scheme and my custom sensitivity.

I naturally play claw, with bumper jumper you are able to claw but not as much. It helps you stay focused and ready while you are moving so you can transition from that to firing at someone.
