Bumper jumper on Halo 2

TLDR: Move nade switching off the Dpad and back on the A button for H1/H2

You guys fixed this with recon(moving it off the Dpad and on the left bumper for H1/H2)

The whole universal layout thing was a good idea on paper but its dumb because the newer games H3/H4 already have modern button layouts so its pointless on there.

The story as to why I’m now -Yoinking!- about a layout I didn’t even use.(as if someone cares lel)

I used to play H2 on xbc with the layout remapped so it was H3 default and I would double shot with the right bumper with the 360 controller.

Now that its a vista port(makes doubling harder) and the x1 bumpers aren’t as good its way to hard to double shot with it so I’m going to finally after years of default make the switch to bumper jumper.

I agree 100%, in the first three Halos the ‘A’ button doesn’t do anything on bumper jumper anyway. Using the D-pad to switch grenades is so annoying in the heat of combat, using ‘A’ would be so much easier!

Why not just allow us to completely configure the controller layout how we want to? I hate it when games only give you a select few options of button layouts.

Seriously I go from MCC/Bumper Jumper to Minecraft, forget that “A” jumps, and then end up in lava. -_-

Because that’d be a great idea for, and addition to, Halo Multiplayer.
