I’ve tried Googling this and searching the forums but didn’t find anything about it. Well I found some really old threads via Google but they all said that this challenge had been fixed by changing it from 3 rounds to 1 because it was impossible to complete 3 rounds in a single FFMM game because they only have 1 round. But today’s challenge it 3 rounds, not 1. At first I figured I just had to complete 3 games without dying but once I’d done that in Score Attack (which is really all I play as far as MM goes) it still showed zero progress. Though I’d get a single round credit after each one. Is this challenge just broken again or is there another game mode where you can play 3 rounds?
Not broken. Just play the firefight playlist to complete this challenge.
You have to play actual Firefight with other people in Matchmaking, not the single player Score Attack

I’ve never played that (over the years I always just played campaign, score attack or single player firefight), but the threads I was reading made it sound like even that wasn’t a possibility. Saying that that even Firefight matchmaking only counted as one round. These were all really old threads though, like from 2010 and 2011. Maybe they were just mistaken or perhaps something’s changed since then. Either way the challenge has already expired but I’ll know next time.

Yeah, I’m not sweating missing out on a couple thousand Cr. I just usually try to complete them if I can or if they’re not too much of a hassle.
