I have seen videos demonstrating the Bullet Magnetism of Halo 4 and Halo 5 and was wondering if I am the only person who absolutely ABHORS the addition of this mechanic change.
In a console game, AIM Assist or Bullet Magnetism is a must have. Without that the game would be so hard and to “elitist” online. Yes they could make the competitive queue without assist, BUT i’m sure most of the guy saying “AIM ASSIST” is bad would change idea after a week.
That is one of the reason why PC FPS players (like me ^^) don’t like most of the Console FPS. because you play them with a controller which is much less precise.
And overall, i greatly prefer Magnetism than AIM assist. Moving my cross hair for me is kinda annoying.

Okay, But what about pre halo 4 where there was no magnetism? plenty of people had high headshot ratios and i myself never had any issue with reasonable long shots
Aim assist is kind of a must have in shooters controlled with controllers (Iirc, a fair number if PC shooters have aim assist options so that you can use a controller with them.) but the levels it goes to in Halo 4 and to a lesser extent Halo 5, especially with some of the insane instances of bullet magnetism, is absolutely ridiculous

And to add to that i think that the magnetism they most probably should have, instead of adding damaging shots or killing blows, is to make the close shots into glancing shots. As in they would literally glance or bounce slightly off the spartan’s armor. Perhaps making a metallic clang and informing the player in a mentally rewarding way that they narrowly escaped death or injury while minutely changing the path of the bullet by a degree or two.
