I was watching a video about halo 4s bullet magnetism on you tube and thought to my self “ha, that -Yoink- that takes the skill out of halo, glad halo 5s not like that.” Then I played halo 5 and went like 15 and 7 or some thing like that. I showed my friend on theater mode and then realize that on one of my kills I didn’t even shoot the guy with my redical on him and still killed him. I replayed it in slowmo and realized that I never shot him and it gave me the kill. I couldn’t believe it. I love halo 5 but this -Yoink- gots to go, like come on. Then I thought hey maybe it’s just lag, so I searched it up on you tube and saw a video called “Bullet Magnetism Assist in halo 5”. This really frusturated me because it shows the developers bragging about bullet magnetism. Why can’t a guns shoot straight like they always have WTF. I will never be able to look at halo 5 the same again.
Its ok i guess. But Halo will always be the same. Look at their servers. When you use a whispered truth and a answer and 5-7 kills away from an Unfrig and LEFT FIRETEAM comes out. #rantinghere
There’s high magnetism because this game is incredibly fast. Any less magnetism and people won’t even be able to play the game. I will agree that the sniper is a lot easier to use, though.

Um this game has the lowest bullet magnetism just look at youtube videos comparing all of the halos actually the problem is the theater mode its buggy in this game and is not a good way to figure out or to review clips.
Halo 5 br vs halo 2 br.Halo 3 bullet magnetism.Sorry i couldnt find halo ce and 2 magnetism
I think it’s fun and, like someone else said, it makes it easier to play now that Halo is a full on fast paced game.
This game doesn’t seem to have that much bullet magnetism. The times where it does do that for me is when it would have barely missed without it. It isn’t ridiculous like in CoD, but it counts close shots as hits.

Your right this game doesnt have alot of magnetism in fact its the least in all of halo.
Halo 5 actually doesn’t have that much bullet magnetism, except for the sniper. The reason why it seems like there is a lot of magnetism is because theater mode is very buggy, and it doesn’t place the shots where it should.
I am curious to know why everyone is claiming that Halo 5 has a “low” bullet magnetism? It easily has one of the highest simply due to the fast paced game play, which wasn’t what Halo was about but they had to attract people who don’t even like the originals.

I completely agree with you, I had (actually still should have) a gametype in Halo 4 that has no Aim Assist or Bullet Magnetism, and it is some of the most amazing fun I have ever had in Halo.
I played with a small group of friends and we were missing quick panic-shots and concentrating really hard just to get a hit on someone, it was the most intense Halo match ever. After a while, we all got quite good at getting headshots but there were always tense battles with missed shots on both sides, it felt like a real warzone.
All that said, I think the Aim Assist is a must for console because so many people would just give up. The Bullet Magnetism can go though, I constantly call bull-shoink on half of my “headshots” and it bothers me that a lot of people think that it’s all pure skill with so many hand-holding mechanics under the hood.
I guess that’s what we get for playing console shooters.

Um the funny thing is that if you look at the originals they have wayyyyyy more bullet magnetism than halo 5 just look for my post above and it show the halo 2 br vs the halo 5 br and also halo 3 bullet magnetism.
WTF thats bull crap

idk man, bullet mag, isn’t annoying, espically not on console. missing someones face by an inch, is far more frustrating then you might think it is.
people cry for no aim assist/bulletmag. but then yell to the heavens HOW DID HE NOT DAY I HIT HIM FOR SURE.
Consider it compensation for the lag.

Frame rate issues. And whoever has the stronger internet connection really. (even with designated servers) The xbox one can handle only so much.
There’s 3 of the issues right there. Halo 4 had very OP bullet magnetism. Halo 5, yeah not so much. It really comes down to those 3.
Don’t forget there’s crosshair magnetism as well. That’s what you’re seeing. The two are quite different.
I think the bullet magnetism is fine where it is. It isn’t a crutch; people who are bad shots still don’t get kills.
Which is why all of my friends quit this game; COD has spoiled everyone with its crunched skill gap and complete lack of skill-based gameplay.
