They exposed it themselves via “The Sprint”. I’ve Gotten way too many precision weapon kills with it that I didn’t deserve. There’s aim assist, bullet magnetism and to top it off, sprint.
You sound like bullet magnetism was something they were trying to hide.
Well first of all, it’s a hitscan meaning if you hit something and they thrust away it still registered them dead so you can get around the corner and still die. If it wasn’t hitscan, it probably wouldn’t be as fun.
Without the magnetism as it is, the game wouldn’t feel right. It would force more close encounters or be frustrated while nothing registers from range. The only fix needed to be honest is the reticule registers headshots as long as the top half is near the head, so it looks like a chestshot. Just raise it so the bottom half needs to be on or above the head more like H:CE was. I also wonder if the graphics that show you hitting someone with the headshot sound effect is slightly delayed and makes it feel off.
And, don’t judge it from Theatre mode cause it runs from a server and isn’t the perspective from realtime.

Agreed, but it’s still REALLY high. There are shots I know I’ve hit but didn’t register, while I’ve had times where I could have sworn I missed by a mile but still counted.
^ knows. I’ve shot people in the chest with a sniper and it.counts as a headshot. I know people have done this to me too. That’s why I think it too high.
I immediately stopped looking at your post as a viable argument for anyhing the second I saw you -Yoinking!- about sprint
The game needs magnetism and aim assist due to being on consoles, thus requiring less skill as far as accuracy is concerned.
Another reason why Halo should be on PC.
are they still planning on doing the thing where we can use keyboard and mouse on the xbox?
