I played a game of Big Team Slayer last night and finished with a KDA of 19.7 but I never received a point for my Bulldozer commendation. Has anyone else noticed this? Does Big Team Slayer not count as a slayer gametype?
If the commendation is completed then you should receive it eventually, if not you may have to try another playlist.
played alot of BTB and got well over 8 KDA i think ya it might be broken
BTB is considered Big Team slayer, not normal slayer. Therefore it doesn’t count as “Slayer” for bulldozer. If you notice in your stats when you look at game modes Big Team Slayer is separate from Slayer.
It is pretty lame, though. However, if they were to put in a separate commendation geared towards big team where you have to have a KDA of 15 or something that would be fun.

You’re probably right about that, although the commendation itself says “slayer gametype”, not “slayer playlist”. Yet another thing about this game that makes no sense…

Yeah, its just this game separates Slayer and Big Team Slayer into separate game types. Same with Strongholds and CTF, the Big Team variants are separate game types from the normal for some reason.

Does anyone know if SWAT and Team Snipers count in this commendation? I never bothered to check before
Could be because it needs to be a ranked gametype for that commendation, which is why Warzone doesn’t count towards it either. Or they didn’t feel the 8 above was as challenging in the game types with the potential for so many poor players and one sided beatdowns that involve pinning the other teamdown…

Swat counts since it is a slayer game mode, I don’t remember team Snipers for sure but I am pretty sure it did. Basically, if it is slayer, it counts. Just not big team slayer since that is its own game mode.

Its just because Big Team game modes are separate from normal modes. Even when BTB was ranked it wouldn’t work since it wasn’t normal slayer. And Warzone is its own thing.
I found the formula. KDA= kills - deaths *(plus assists) * assists= .3 towards your kills and automatically rounds itself to 1 with 3 assists.
