Just as the title says, the new Bulldog shotgun sucks. Every single time I pick it up I end up regretting it. I don’t remember if I’ve ever gotten a single kill with it and I’m including the time I spent playing the Infinite flight. I literally just shot a guy 3 times at point blank range only to be beaten down by an AR/melee combo.

The bulldog kills faster than the AR, so I don’t know why you’re having trouble. It’s full auto by the way, in case you didn’t know.

Yeah it should be a 1 or 2 hit kill but instead it is a 3 hit kill WTF is with that, shotguns are damage dealers not freaking pepper shakers.

I’m not a fan of it either. I shot a guy two times whose shields were already flaring at point blank range, only to get killed by his teamate with the AR/melee meta. It was a two shot weapon up close in the flights, don’t know why they nerfed it.

Yeah… the bulldog is a strange weapon, and i never personally pick it up. It feels like a blunt object in the weapon sandbox but not in a good way. I want my classic, close-quarters, hits-like-an-rc-car-at-more-than-10-feet, shotgun.

They didn’t nerf it, it is still two shots at point blank, but only if you are well muzzle of the gun in the visor point blank.

Nah it has to literally be through their visor and halfway down their throat. I point blank shot someone and it took 3 shots.

It is a 2 shot kill close range…
Here is how bad the bulldog is, I was able to melee someone to death while they shot at me.

Dude the Bulldog slaps. It’s a one shot + 1 melee kill, two shot kill close range, or 3 shot kill short-mid range.
And it fires SO fast. It’s definitely not as good as the old shotty, but I still usually get a couple kills with it every time I have it

Just used it in BTB and I literally emptied a clip and then reloaded and finally got the kill. I’ve unloaded 3 shots multiple times without getting a kill. The Bulldog at most is a 4 shot weapon. An enemy can literally run at me and melee me to death before I get a kill

I’m finding it effective. It’s like the CE shotgun. Tons of range compared to the rest of the series, just gotta be consistent with the shots.

I haven’t even noticed an improvement with range because it’s damage is so consistently garbage. There’s no reason to not just use the AR

Honestly I feel like that says more about how powerful the AR is. It has an extremely overwhelming presence in Infinite’s sandbox.
The bulldog will never be a 1 or two hit kill, it’s meant to fill a different role than the regular shotgun which will be added eventually.

Agreed. The TTK is way too long to offset the lack of range.
I don’t think most of you are using the Bulldog right. I do great with it. It’s full auto and kills way faster than the AR at extremely close ranges. Took down three guys in a tight space yesterday with it with some armor abilites mixed in.

A good way to get better with certain weapons is to go into the weapon drills and do level 3 drills over and over. It sounds repetitive and simple, but it actually works very well. You should try it with the bulldog.
