I have found a good number of things that need to be looked at or adjusted. First, weapons need to be tweaked. As of now, they feel highly inconsistent. The AR will sometimes kill someone in one clip, but sometimes it won’t. Sometimes, an energy sword can swing twice in the same amount of time it takes a grav hammer to swing once, but other times a hammer can swing twice in the time it takes for a sword to swing once, despite both players spamming the swing button. Most of the weapons feel heavily underpowered, and I find myself gravitating to the sidekick and needler more than any of the other non-power weapons. Second, vehicle spawns need an overhaul. The idea of having a pelican bring in a random vehicle every so often is cool, but can make games unbalanced. Having each vehicle have a static spawn, like just about every previous game, works so much better. Especially when you get a particularly evil mission to get kills with a scorpion or wraith, but only have a minuscule chance to even see one in the first place. On that note, vehicles need to be buffed. Either they do more damage, or they take longer to EMP. As of now, a warthog turret seems to take a lot longer to kill someone as opposed to previous titles and is much easier to destroy or hijack with the inclusion of more ways to disable it. This carries over to most of the other vehicles as well. Third, allow the players to pick what game type they want to play. If I have a mission to play CTF, I don’t want to play 20 rounds of stronghold, slayer, and oddball to get one chance to play CTF. Fourth, the game has had highly volatile FPS issues. I am currently running on PC with more than enough resources to run the game on high, but have seen serious bouts of FPS drop and screen tearing. In addition to this, I have been seeing a few extreme cases of rubberbanding today and yesterday. Finally, the game has crashed a couple times for me in various instances when interacting with the grapple. The first instance was when I grappled a wall above a player and immediately swung my hammer at them as soon as the grapple released. The second time was when I was piloting a wraith and an enemy player grappled the tank. The game crashed shortly before he made contact with the vehicle.
