Okay so first off let me say that im not here to complain about the connection or anything like that.
First off getting real tired of my rank going down by half just because i leave a game in dire situations. I have left a game maybe 4 or 5 times not because i was like hey -Yoink- it, but because the entirety of my team quits, whether they quit by connection or just leave is beyond me. Regardless, who wants to sit there for 8 to 10 minutes in a 5v1 getting constantly killed or trying to find a hiding spot to wait it out because lets face it its a hardly probable that youll win a 5v1. Soooooooooo i left twice, the first time i went from a 11 to a 6 but i assumed it was just the patch that reset my rank, then once again i got level 13 quit because it was 5v2 and my teamate was constantly dying on purpose or jumping off a ledge woah is me. Next thing i know im a level 3… So as far as i can tell everytime i have quit from an unfair game my rank goes down by a lottttttt and its really annoying. I wouldnt care if my rank got reset from just the game patches or w/e. but to get dropped so low from leaving because i have no chance of doing anything in the game i really frustrating. I just sat through the entire game because i didnt want to leave so for 6 minutes i tried to survive the timer or them getting to 50 kills which mind you is llong and boring.
Secondly im not sure if i can confirm this or not, but i was playing with a couple of people who were in there 30’s and so i was a level 8 (cool i know but i dont care either way) they said theres no point in playing ranked because if you pull out ur ethernet cable before the game starts (i believe tahts what he said) or rather when its loading you disconnect and it counts as a win. While i didnt believe him at first everytime i have a high level on my team or the enemy’s team they seem to quit 99.5% of time.
So does anyone else know about this? Because if its true thats really -Yoinking!- stupid.
