Bugged Armor Online?

I have a strange problem with my armor in Halo 3.

Whenever I play online, my armor will, at times, revert to default. However, this only happens to armor unlocked via online achievements.

This can make me rather upset when I can’t wear my SCOUT shoulders or Commando helmet that took so long to get.

Does this happen to anyone else, or am I just unlucky?

It randomly happens to me too sometimes, no idea what causes it though.

I have experienced this throughout my many years of playing Halo 3 but I have always put it down to a problem with the matchmaking games internet connection.
