I believe I have found a bug in the CSR logic for FFA? I am getting 0 or tiny points for wins and losing large amounts of points for 2/3 in the onyx division.
Two days ago I was Champion around 2230 CSR. I had a night of dropping a ton of CSR, around 150 points from playing bad and not getting place 1 or 2 against players it kept matching me against that were onyx players lower than myself. Now that I was a lower CSR i have kept dropping greatly for anything not first place. I am down to around 1990.
MY LAST GAME I PLACED FIRST AND DID NOT GO UP IN CSR AT ALL. The previous game I placed first against onyxs with multiple being over 100 csr above me and I gained 9 points. Over the past several games I have seen multiple times that I got positive kd and win 2nd or 3rd in FFA (and i didnt tie on kills) and I will lose big points even 12-18 points for second against other onyxs. I have never even played diamond this season that I remember so not like players much lower than me.
Being a software developer myself i attempted to think of what could be causing this in the ranking logic. Could it be for some reason in deciding points to go up in down for placing in FFA takes into account the highest CSR you have ever been instead of what you currently are? It would make sense because on my initial climb to my highest I had no problem gaining points correctly.
Hopefully the right people are aware of this?
