Just wanted to make 343i aware of this would-be new bug.
I am currently on “The Halo” mission on my Legendary run of the campaign and I have a save right at the beginning of the level that was from Sunday 3/19/2017 (pre-patch) along with other saves for the campaign across multiple days in March.
After yesterdays patch all those saves would direct me to the load screen where the characters give voice over briefings about the mission you are about to play and when I hit “A” to continue the game crashed on my every single time, no matter the level I was loading.
I selected “The Halo” mission from the mission select option under campaign and started the mission on a new save and the level loads fine (currently well into the level thank you very much).
So there it is, seems that pre-patch campaign saves aren’t working. Unless it’s just me, to which I would then say carry on.
