Bug Report: No Stat Tracking or Achievements

EDIT: I HAVE SOLVED THIS ISSUE (Partially)

Steps to resolve:

  1. Sign out of your Xbox Live account by selecting “Change Profiles”
  2. Create a new Microsoft account
  3. Play a single social game to unlock 1 achievement
  4. Sign out of the newly created Xbox Live account
  5. Sign back into your original account

Stats now begin to track!
I am unsure if it’s possible to get locked out of achievements this way, though.

=======================================================================

This post is mainly for developers,
I have a packet capture of a single Social match, and then going to the stats page, if a dev wants it.

Here’s an in depth detail of my setup and this bug (Hardware information not included, as this is very unlikely that it is related to hardware)
I can test other versions of Windows, if needed, but all of my versions will be Volume License, as I run an MSP with access to many licenses in my VLSC,

Steps I have taken to attempt to remedy this issue:

  1. Change Xbox Live Name
I changed my xbox live gamertag to potentially migrate my account to a newer account type, not knowing what the backend looks like.
    Did not resolve the issue.

  2. Reformatted PC and installed Windows 10 Enterprise rather than LTSC (No Xbox App on LTSC)
This was in the event that achievements were done via some API call to the Xbox framework packages.
    Did not resolve the issue.

Listed Below are the software environments and account details for my testing.
Stats and Achievements are not tracked in any of these, which means the issue is likely related to the Microsoft Account.

Solution does not work for me.
I have two machines running the game, one records stats and achievements, the other does not.
I created a new xbox account and unlocked achievements on the 2nd machine where stats are recorded. When I logged back into the 1st machine it is still unable to record stats.

Checking here on waypoints service record it says that I haven’t played the game at all on the 1st machine, it only shows the couple of games I played on the 2nd.

A strange thing I’ve noticed is that in the career tab under medals is says 0/622, when previously it was 0/311 and my friends have confirmed that they all have x/311 medals.

I will be formatting my PC later today and trying again. I can’t see why it would work on one machine but not the other, unless it’s some. Strange hardware issue it surely must be some 3rd party software that is effecting things.

Before you reformat try factory resetting telemetry through OOSU: O&O ShutUp10++: Free antispy tool for Windows 10 and 11 just click actions and select revert: https://i.imgur.com/baTJxlW.png.

This solved my problem after troubleshooting last night/today.

same issue here, did not fix itself after the fix you gave OP

Was coming back here to say I seem to have solved the issue by resetting the telemetry I had disabled with shutup10.
Not sure exactly which element it is, but I intend to go through and isolate the setting that causes issues so that we can disable as much telemetry as possible

So far One Drive and Cortana can be turned off, I haven’t had the time to test the rest of it out though.

My telemetry setting are as follows:

During Windows Installation literally everything and anything was set to “No” or “Decline”
I also am using a local account, rather than a Microsoft account for login.

I have not modified any telemetry settings via registry (Using one of the telemetry stubbing applications)
I do have a pihole stubbing all requests to watson.microsoft.com

With these settings I am getting proper stat tracking and achievements
