Bug Report: Intermittent Freezing After Installing/Using Thrustmaster Eswap X Pro Controller

Today I received a new Thrustmaster Eswap X Pro Controller (Series X/S, Windows 10, Xbox One Compatible). I attached the controller to my PC and installed the Thrustmapper X App from the Windows Store to remap the back buttons.

All of that was successful and the controller works great in Halo Infinite except that now I’m experiencing intermittent ~10s freezes in game. The video and audio get stuck on a single frame, while the game continues running in the background. The freeze eventually ends and by that point I’m usually dead or wherever my uncontrolled character walked to during that time.

I have never experienced this issue in Halo Infinite until today and installing the controller software & driver is the only configuration change I’ve made to my PC since the issue manifested.

Here is my latest DxDiag: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SzeS5qCT0pRsumKxstb7j5Z8jQYW9svG/view?usp=sharing

I was experiencing the same issue with the thrustmaster. I tried everything to trying the steam and MS versions, to reinstalling video drivers, disabling Nvidia and Xbox overlay. The only thing I noticed during the freezes is when looking at HaloInfinte.exe in Task Manager, the CPU utilization is way lower than normal, then jumps back when the game unfreezes.

I switched back to the Elite controller and had no more freezes. I returned the eswap. It’s a shame because it’s the best controller I’ve used.
