Myself and others have noticed over the last week or so issues with trying to back out of a matchmaking search (before eplayers are found) The game will often freeze and require a reboot.
I’ve noticed this issue a lot lately last couples of months, it’s not getting any better, have you also experienced time-outs too?, I think the problem is the servers in general are getting worse since the game seems to struggle, freeze up more often lately.

I have definitely experienced timeouts but I know that’s due to the dropping population. For that reason I only try to play playlists I know people are in. But this issue is separate. It literally freezes and crashes half the time when backing out.

Not sure if that’s a population issue. I think it’s a server/game issue since I’ve had server timeouts errors regardless of it fails to get into a game, even when I l’m able to get in a game. I’m not totally sure it’s seperate issue since I’ve had the freezing up too, it’s made loading a match impossible. What I suspect is the servers are over due for maintenace which is why we are getting freezes, time-outs. Come to think of it I can’t remember the last time 343i even checked their servers plus I think part of the reason it freezes so often is because its poorly optimised since I have seen these freezes happen more often whenever I try to select any of the menu UI like the REQ menu’s, etc…
I’ve been playing day 1, I think the games been gradually been falling apart, on some days I feel like some parts of the game is just as broken as MCC.
