There seems to be a bug/glitch with the in game naming of the Diamond rank when acquiring it after your placement matches.
The icon itself is the Diamond rank icon, Halo waypoint and my service record show the Diamond rank but the after action report shows Platinum
Yeah, I’ve got it to say diamond a couple times when I was actually a platinum.
Interesting. You should report this to Bravo and Unyshek on Twitter or something.

lol, waypoint says i am platinum 2, when i am silver 2 in game XD
The Platinum ranks will all display saying Diamond and vice versa. Also If you click on an individual in the post game carnage report it also will always (I believe) display the little green arrows going up but this is not always indicative to whether or not the player’s rank is actually increasing.

They know about the arrow thing and they are working on it.
