For some reason the bandanna skull in halo 2 is only working for weapons that require reloading. For energy weapons like the plasma rifle and the energy sword, the skull is not having its intended effect.
I really dont care about multiplayer, nor do i post this for people to b*tch about why.
I post this because I would like for this to be fixed. I reported this issue sometime ago, and it hasnt been taken care of, likely because of being buried by all of the posts from whining little kids who want their money back…
Anyway… the bandanna skull in halo 2 isnt working right, if someone could take moment to fix this, id appreciate it.
i’m not sure if im right or not but maybe its only for the UNSC weapons and not the covenant? I thought you got the skull for all the games not just H2 but i prob read it wrong. i can’t event get the bandana skull to work right i’ll have it on with co-op and it wont event work period.
I am having this same problem. It does work for UNSC & covenant weapons. However like stated above it doesn’t seem to work for weapons that don’t need reloading. Hope they fix all the campaign issues soon, but it seems that online matchmaking is 1st priority.
i have a feelinga big percentage of the people who bought it for online. which is lame because the campaign is a beast <3
Sadly thats how it is with a lot of mp games. Campaign is pretty solid outside of what, like 3 noticable glitches in CE and H2? It would take only a few minutes to fix.
At the same time they could add more skulls to each one (after they fix of course)
It also brings up an interesting question,
is there only one group of devs working on these glitches? If thats the case, it could be more effective to have multiple teams working on glitches in different areas of the game, theyd cover FAR more ground that way.
At the end of the day it feels like those of us who want to help fix the game are drowned out once more by crying kids who are screaming that they want theyre money back…(which aint happenin btw)
if only there was a more direct way of delivering our questions and report glitches…(maybe a phone # we could call?)
i’m with you about the kids wanting their money back. i’m not sure the whole team may be working on the multi seeing as thats what everyone is complaining about. it would be nice to have number to call but it would be more wasteful then helpful with all the hateful messages from others

I got the game for both sp and mp. Ive not tried the bandanna skull yet on mcc but on anniversary 2011 it worked on all weappns you just had to reload as normal (no bottomless clip)

If you have the bandanna skull for h2, use it, then pick up any energy weapon (except the needler because it has a mag) youll see what i mean.
OP, I have the same issue as well. Found that odd when I first played. But it may be awhile until they resolve such a small thing.
Do you know if it negates achievements as well? At least for like par times and scores?
i entered the code for bandana and it received it alright but no even the skull appears on the menu…lame!!!
