I’ve got a couple of games bookmarked in the theatre, but when I play them, I cannot select myself. I can’t see myself in the leaderboards, and if I find myself using the freecam, “I” just skate around the floor without moving my legs, and only face one direction.
Is there any fix for this?
There are a lot of issues apparent in theater when seeing pro gameplay, and 343 has done nothing to address the issues.
What may of happened is you’ve replaced a player who had left. I think it keeps the leavers name in theatre.

There is no fix that I am aware of. This happens in jip games. In jip u assume the GT of the quitter. Sometimes the game does not even acknowledge you as per your observations.

Yes, should add that sometimes after your first respawn your GT replaces the quitter and normalizes, but still an issue none the less.
Theater mode in halo 5 is just bad. The main reason for this is due to the fact that theater is connected to a dedicated server for it to work.
A lot of issues can come of this, especially if there is an issue with the connection.
Over all, don’t expect theater to be 100% reliable.

this problem that if you are playing a match and you join a JIP match that you name is from a player that has quit that match.
also this annoying problem is all from day one when the game was out and its still not fix.
