After the BTB Down load…When I load a new mission in the Campaign it crashes and I get sent back to my XBOX home screen.
Please help.

plus alle mp activity is impossible
I have found that when it crashes-loading a game save works, but don’t die! It will crash again and then I need to start the process again. This feels like the MCC nightmare all over again…

Same issue, I couldn’t resume yesterday and now I can’t even load it. So stupid and frustrating.
Finished a section then tragically died and lost all my progress.
Called MS, they offererd 0 help
Same for me,working fine until the update,very frustrating, playing on legendary, so die quite often,not worth playing until this is fixed!!!
Having same issues. When I resume a game it goes into the load screen and crashes. It kicks me back to xbox home screen. Have read here and there that starting new game helps. Would hate to start another campaign from start. Stopped playing the game until there is a definite resolution. Going back to titanfall until this is resolved, bummer.
I guess we need an update for the update. 
I was trying to get all the skulls and Intel in Swords of Sanghelios on heroic, but once I missed the huge jump and died trying to get the skull, it crashed and sent me back to the home screen. I tried reloading my progress, crashed again and sent me back to the dashboard. Also, I keep having connection problems with multiplayer. Both in arena and warzone. I could hardly play halo at all last night. Fix this soon 343i. Halo is and has always been my favorite gaming experience.
Same issue here. I noticed it yesterday after the update. Will go fine (as long as I load a pre-update save new ones crash) until death then the game crashes and I end up at the home screen.

HEY GUYS FOUND THIS
I am able to fix this by loading up the specific saved game (resume didn’t work), making it to the next checkpoint, and saving the game over the old save. No issues since then, but my Legendary solo and all legendary missions complete achievement won’t pop. Waypoint says I’ve completed the missions too.

I crashed a bunch playing BTB and then once during campaign resulting in the corrupted save game thing.
Everything was so smooth before the update 
Same problem here. 343 needs to get their -Yoink- together. It’s not practical to Save after every Checkpoint in anticipation of being kicked to home screen. Not worth any time playing Legendary because every death kicks me out.
Same here keeps jumping back to the home screen when I die. I’ve had my Xbox one nearly a week. If it’s not the insanely long download times then it’s the bugs. Is this future of gaming? What ever happened to putting a disc in your console and just playing the game? I’m very close to taking my purchase back and getting a refund and going back to my 360. Poor show Microsoft.
Upgraded from a 360 to an Xbox one because of Halo 5. So far I’m very disappointed. The game crashes everytime I die. Not to mention the hours spent installing the game and it’s update. Since when did it become so hard to play video games these days? I wonder if the PS4 has these problems?
