Pretty sure Buck’s armour is the HELLJUMPER-class.

I know that but the white crap looks stupid. Also, his helljumper is bulkier, bigger.
Couldn’t see why they can’t have given Buck Nightfall armour instead.
It’s literally just ODST styled MJOLNIR armour that’s been renamed. It would fit him so much better too. He does say “miss being an ODST, just point and shoot. None of this middle grey B.S.”

Well his is solid black with a few tiny words. The ones you can pick have white all over. The Feetfirst variant has a white smiley face on the chest. You can see the regular one by looking at my ptofile.
Yeah, those white stripes and stuff are outraging.
If they didn’t want us to emulate Buck in multiplayer, why are we able to make almost-carbon copies of Fred, Vale, Kelly, etc?

In the lore, Nightfall armor isn’t a TRUE set of mjolnir. It’s only in the game because in Halo: Nightfall it’s what Locke and his squad used and they weren’t spartans.
Bucks armor IS Helljumper because he wanted a suit of mjolnir that resembled at least in part his old ODST armor.

I understand that. Lol. Sorry if I didn’t clarify. I know Buck’s armor is Helljumper. It’s just that the Helljumper we get to choose looks nothing like Bucks. In size, his is bulkier, but its main difference is in color. All of the Osiris armor we get to choose from looks just like the armor in the campaign except for Bucks.
Let me show you something:
Notice how these all look similar to each other but different from the ODST variant we know from Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Reach? That’s because they are. These are all modeled after the original ODST armor from Halo 2. Bungie changed it up for 3, ODST and Reach. 343 seems to have gone back to the Halo 2 look. They kept the other look around. Buck wears it. It’s called “Helljumper”, but it seems they prefer the classic Halo 2 look.
So, in summary:

NIGHTFALL: Halo 2: ODST-style

One can hope.
as you can see in my avatar, I prefer to use the helljumper helmet with the nightfall body. I like Helljumper, but the skins we got are not very good. Would have liked to have the camo patter like what Buck has.
