So I a few hours ago
I had this idea about buck being in the reclaimer trilogy .
First I need to recap on the spartan IV project . Unlike the last 2 spartan projects this one took veteran UNSC members eligible for (surviving ?)The augmentatation process (like the spartan I project officy dubbed ORION) . So really if 343 had any plans for buck and / or ODST squad (or really any past characters ) to appear in H 4,5,6 they could use this plothole to get other characters in .
But I really wanted your opinion if Buck or other characters like stacker should be in future halo games.
Also something to bear in mind is if Buck in future halo and was playable like arbiter in H2 it could almost be considered an ODST 2. .

While I wouldn’t have a problem if Buck returned, I don’t think 343 should bring back old characters just because they can.
I think Buck is a cool character and I wouldn’t mind if he came back.
Well in his BIO it did say that if he were any better, he’d be a Spartan.
Sure why not? We don’t have alot of OG characters to choose from anyway.
I would like to see his whole squad as Spartan IV. They could be a squad of spartans in campaign that fight with you.
Not just buck, but his whole team. They can’t just bring buck back they need to bring back is whole team as well.
I’d be willing to bet that in the 4 year time skip between ODST and Halo 4 , Buck and pretty much everyone else has gotten better

That’s why I said and or his squad because his squad were just as awesome as him .
Nathan Fillion as Buck? Yes please, he was in the E3 wrap up video playing Halo at E3!!!
I don’t want to see Buck or any of the other from his squad in the new trilogy. Having a small pool of characters appear all over the fiction makes the universe seem small and simplistic, something which Halo shouldn’t become. Buck is one man in hundreds of thousands in the UNSC. It would seem like too much of a coincidence for him to make an appearance. No thanks. New characters please.

Opinions aren’t facts. I personally thought the characters were the only good thing about ODST.
I hate seeing old characters in new games unless they are essential to both stories

I didn’t like rookie. Perhaps its because i didn’t like the new Mombasa missions where its dark and too quiet
