I’m not speaking for anyone else on these forums, but I have to get this out.
I just watched through the Anniversary Campaign video on 360 Waypoint…bravo. I first played Halo when I was 9 years old with my older brother, I love that game like no other, I was a little skeptical after hearing of a remake but truthfully? 343, you have done an amazing job. I applaud you.
I was watching that and I honestly started getting a lump of nostalgia in my throat, everything from the graphics to the AI models is fantastic, I only saw a few Skyboxes but they all look amazing.
I would like to just say as well that the flood models look especially freaky, Keyes’ flood form looks even more horrifying than the original.
I know that some people are going to say, “Oh shut up, no one cares” but you know what, I don’t care. I know of no other way to personally thank 343 for this amazing game, so thank you 343.
The models look amazing, especially the Flood and I know there have been a lot of threads lately against the Kinect Feature but I can’t wait to use it. The thing I like about CEA is that it is simple, only the essentials were put in and there isn’t any niches that are completely useless. Its how a remake should be and a tiny bit more.
Anyone who can see the giant visual differences between the Halo 3 Elites and the Halo Reach Elites. It also doesn’t help that they clash with the new design of the infection forms, carrier forms and proto-gravemind.
i agree i havent played halo CE in well over 6-7 years i played it when it came out i was 8 at the time. i cant wait till it comes out. many of my friends dont understand why i would spend money on this game when its nothing new. for me its been so long sence i last played halo CE its going to be like playing a hole new Halo.

Do you have any proof that that is the finished version? How do we know that’s not a place holder? Until we actually play the game you should hold your criticism. Remember when the Chief and AR looked different?

The game went Gold a couple days ago. All the visuals had to have been done quite awhile before that. Why would they advertise a game that comes out in less than a month that is done with stuff that doesn’t represent what we are getting. Also the only reason they changed the Chief and the AR was because of the fan outcry.
Very well said. Watching this video only boosted my confidence in 343 as a company. The game is shaping out to be amazing. The skyboxes? The snow on Assault on the Control Room? Very, very epic.
343, you are all very amazing, talented, loyal people. I wouldn’t trust anybody else to handle my favorite gaming franchise.
