Teams will not be required to send payment until at least 8 teams register/reserve their spot. Once 8 teams have registered, payment will be required by 3/23/17 in order to lock your team into the tournament.
There are no refunds for this tournament. If you and a partner want to compete, please be sure that you both will be able to participate on 3/25/17 starting at 10 A.M. EST. The tournament will be concluded on the 3/25/17.

Team names must be deemed respectful by BtC. Keep it professional and fun.
Teams that do not show up within 15 minutes of their scheduled game will forfeit immediately.
BtC has the right to start the match with each team in a series, in order to record live commentary, for video making purposes. Pat and Nick will each join a team, self-destruct their base, and eliminate themselves from play ASAP. Once this occurs, Pat and Nick will observe and comment on each team’s gameplay. The base that becomes vacant from Pat and Nick is eligible for play.
If you or your teammate lags out within the first (2) minutes of the game, then the host will end the game and restart. This action can only be taken once per team, per series.
If you or your teammate cannot finish the tournament for any reason, your team forfeits.
The teams that enter into the BtC: Halo Wars 2 (2v2) Open will be randomly placed against another team. There will be no seeding for this tournament.
Maps for this tournament will be randomly generated.
All the information (Game time, Maps, Opponents Gamertags) will be available publicly on 3/23/17 and each team will receive an email with their tentative schedule.
Any leader can be used in this tournament, including any DLC leader that is released leading up to the tournament.
BtC will be randomly selecting games to do a live commentary over. Teams that are selected to be observed will be notified when the bracket is released.
Prove that your team won the game by taking a picture with your phone, Xbox one, or any other recording device.
Teams caught cheating, glitching, or abusing in-game mechanics in any way, will forfeit the map and series.
If a team cheats in any regard and your team has undeniable evidence of this, then the other team will be disqualified from ever entering a BtC Halo Wars 2 tournament again, and your team will move on to the next round.
BtC will not profit from any tournament entry fees. All proceeds go to the top four teams and Paypal fees only.
