BTBSFHR

The only mode lacking in Halo 5: Big Team Battle Super Fiesta Husky Raid on a one-lane map. If you’re gonna go crazy, might as well go all the way. Balancing bears no meaning since weapons are random and teams are always disproportionately in favor of people who don’t know how to play, so might as well make it a total destruction derby.

Maybe we’ll see it in Infinite or in MCC.

EDIT: This isn’t meant to be sarcastic, save maybe for the bit about how teams are formed. I really think a mode like this would be a lot of fun.

You are a genius. I need to see this. It would need to be quite wide/multiple paths to support BTB, but this could be serious carnage. Forgers: pretty please!

Finally… someone posted something in the Halo 5 threads that actually makes sense that I can actually get behind. Husky Raid isn’t necessarily my favorite game type, but my wife actually adores it and hopes for it every time she plays super fiesta. I actually wouldn’t mind it as it would be part of the rotation. I do like Husky Raid… I love the concept, and do enjoy some husky raid… what frustrates me is the “randomizer” not being very random. I mean honestly… a plasma pistol vs. rocket launcher or similar comparisons. “Random” matches like that frustrate me to no end, and the usual response I get is “well, you have to learn to strategize”. Umm… I’m sorry… There’s no strategizing with that big of weapon difference… that’s my only qualm with husky raid. I certainly would enjoy it a lot more if they evened it out a big. That being said… I’d love to see it in a big team type map, with vehicles and more teammates… it has the potential to be a lot of fun. I fully support this motion!!

Yeah, the random nature can sometimes feel lopsided, especially when one team gets all the Mythic weapons in the last minute and quickly gets one or more captures.

That’s generally just about how all of mine go… At times it’s just awful to the point where I need to put the controller down and walk away for a bit. But like I said… I love the concept, I love the maps and the idea behind… just gets super frustrating at times… but I think putting it in a BTB setting is an excellent idea!!!

It would be a lot of fun! I’m also very curious to see how match results would look. Perhaps there would be a ton of ties.

Assuming you’d get a full BTB match… a tie would be a pretty safe assumption… too many people trying to kill one another… you’d almost never get flag, let alone be any kind of successful in trying to return it.
