At this point, I think it’s safe to say that BTB will arrive with purely forged maps. Do you think this playlist will stay limited to forge and its Canvasses, or will the DLCs feature some officially made maps from 343/aka non forge?

Hopefully btb gets its own maps or else it would be very disappointing that they couldn’t bother to make btb maps and its just forge maps based on three forge canvas we know of. If we are getting more forge maps there better be more forge canvases/new environments. It would get stale seeing and playing in similar scenery unless they plan to just forge on different areas of the canvases and setting up what would be a different map.

I believe BTB is getting 6 dedicated maps post launch as part of the dlc.

Haven’t heard anything like this, but yes, they would require their own maps. The current maps aren’t big enough. You’d have to use Warzone maps, which then, you’d be playing Warzone. Which is almost the same thing. 
But BTB is already DLC :^)

Well 343i said that there would be 14 Arena (non forged) maps at launch, 6 4v4 and maybe the last would be BTB, which when you think about it, it’s just larger arena.

Huh? There’s no Btb at launch so no btb maps at launch. There is supposed to be 18 dlc maps post launch but if they are non forged maps then cool but several counted that are forge maps not cool.

Yeah. But to me, no BTB playlist doesn’t 100% translate to no BTB in custom games to me, personally, especially with the “14 Arena maps that are not forged” thing (which there is 6 original arena maps that are 4v4 that we know of). Just my interpretation.

All I know is a good chunk of map count is going towards forge breakout. So Arena will have like half of the maps you said.
Based off the Forge video we should be able to make some pretty amazing maps, never mind the ones 343 will make.
