All I wanted from BTB in H5 was to relive the crazy chaos of Halo 4’s Heavies. When it became clear that H5 BTB would focus heavily on objective infantry gameplay, I lost interest quickly. It was frustrating and discouraging; it lost all the hectic scale of 4’s battles. A true, consistent BTB experience was entirely missing from H5.
Now, with Super Fiesta BTB, H5’s BTB has been redeemed! Here’s hoping they keep the madness around a while longer!
Actually I was thinking about making a post just like this, in order to show my support for this game mode. You are completely right about Halo 5’s regular BTB sorely lacking in “heaviness”, which turned me off from it. I just stuck with Warzone Firefight and didn’t play anything else, and eventually I kind of took a break from Halo (and this forum) because of reasons. But I came back when I heard about Big Team Super Fiesta, and now I’m playing Halo 5 regularly again. It’s not quite BTB Heavies, but close enough, and still very fun. I hope it becomes a permanent playlist at some point!
I agree that BTB is a very good playlist and Halo 5 really needed it. but ever since the BTB Super Fiesta is out, i can’t seem to find a game in any other playlist. Oh well, i got BTB super fiesta to play then.
Super Fiesta is by far the best multiplayer mode 343’s created. So glad they decided to make this BTB version which I’d argue is just as good but definitely has a different feel to it!

Exactly! It utilizes all of the amazing weapons in Halo 5’s arsenal, so even if it isn’t so perfectly balanced, who cares? It’s just fun for fun’s sake!
I had my longest gaming session in H5 in a long time last night in BTB super fiesta. I am really enjoying it.
I am glad others are having fun with it but I just can’t seem to enjoy it as much as base super fiesta. I’ll give it another shot today.

Try playing with some friends, that usually helps. Otherwise the chaos becomes a bit frustrating and overwhelming.
I agree though, both Super Fiesta and Big Team Super Fiesta are the best playlists in Halo 5. I haven’t played H5 this much since it launched. It’s a blast, pun intended!

I love the fact that a greater range of weapons are more effective, and vehicles are finally seeing the play they deserve! I wish Scorpions were more common, but other than that…
I see why people would like regular Super Fiesta more- in fact, that’s all I’ve played for months! I guess I just missed true big team battle without the constant sniper camping and objectives. Give me chaos!
I’m still liking it, but I did miss the normal BTB and had to play a game of that. The only thing that annoys me is I hate being super rusty so I’m dying in fights that I should’ve won.
I’ve been having a blast playing it. Even tore me away from Rock 'n Rail, my previous favorite mode. The only problem I’ve had was when the enemy parked a Gauss Hog and started spawn camping us. I guess they were far enough away that the game still thought it was a safe spawn or something. Oh well. Still really fun.
Hey sheep.
Ill be back playing soon. And well this playlist is what is the reason ill be back to playing alot more. Sounds so much fun!! I am sure youball will be seeing my corpses on the battle field soon enough
