So it’s not over a thousand? Damn, I was hoping it’s be like 12-13k a match… should be in between Warzone and 4v4 Arena.
The game mode itself is was too long for me to think about it being an arena type game. 800 REQ points is way to low for that type of game. All other game types go on for about maybe 8 min, 12 if it really needs to be?It feels more like a BTB i will say that but i don’t feel like i’m getting rewarded for the time i put in. I played 5 matches and stopped because i was playing Deadlock 4 times (That’s another issue) and not getting at least 1200 points, that would make me feel better.
A score from at least 1200-1600 range. That would be fine. Anywhere up is Warzone, anywhere below is Arena.

I disagree. My idea of a perfect req system would be:
Maybe like 50rp/minute.
100-500 victory bonus.
And 5-50 rp for medals earned in games.
5 for beatdowns, melees, headshots.
10 for perfect kills, sniper headshots, multikills.
Maybe like 15 for assassinations, nadeshots, bxr.
25 for killstreaks.
That way if you do really good in a match, but still lose, you can still get some good rp.
It’s deliberate, the REQ system is pushing you towards Warzone where REQ drops are important in the hope you’ll pay. Micro Transactions have to have a cheap tactic of some kind otherwise nobody buys them.
Plus in objective base games get rp for objectives. Like flag capture could be 100rp. Flag rest 50. Stronghold captured 50
The game needs to awards more REQ points for every game mode imo

Good point. You will only use your reqs in warzone, so it makes sense for them to reimburse you with more rp than other gametypes
I love how Warzone assault can last anywhere between 5 minutes and 15 minutes and you’ll always get around 13k if you win (closer to 11-12k if you lose)
yet in BTB where the limit is more static and can last between 8 and 12 minutes you get like, almost HALF the amount.

Ohhhh that makes me very happy! Basically rewarding the people like myself that are not focused on kd. Very good news and that is exactly how it should be in objective based games. Reward the players that work their butt off to get the objective and don’t care about their KD.
Are you saying that is how it is, or how it should be? Hopefully that is how it currently is. Only concern would be team killing for the flag.
The RP is way too low. Not worth the time it takes. If you are going for req packs.
Seriously, they REALLY need to bump up the REQ count. I’ve gotten more from team slayer (around 8 hundred versus the 750 I just got for winning)

That is way too low.
BTB is totally not worth playing if you want req points… Its taking ages to be able to buy silver packs… Whereas normal arena i find is quite satisfying. another reason BTB is abit crap so far…

This seriously, this is all to do with incentives micro-transactions.
Yeah; I feel like it’s Halo Reach all over again.
MM awards were low; FF was the way to go. In H5, Warzone (-Yoink-ault) is the way to go.
I would say that 343i will take note of this since a lot of people are bringing this issue up but they seemed to have had fingers in their ears about such things since Halo 4 rolled out.
REQ payout in Arena is too low in general.
