Well after a long long break from BTB and just played rumble pit I decided to try out btb again. Well I see it’s the same ol quit fest. My first five games all had quitters. #1: H3 Avalanche CTF, 1 quit on my team but we won anyways. #2: H3 Valhalla Slayer, 1 quit right at the end ending the game five kills short. My team was winning by quite a lot. #3 H4 meltdown slayer 1 quit on my team and.2 quit on the other team as soon as we got a nice lead. #4 H4 complex slayer, we got a good start and the other team started quitting out, 6 quit in total and even 1 quit on my team. #5 H2 terminal one flag. 2 quit on the opposite team as the second round started because my team had one cap and they had none. I heard the player say man this team… I am quitting out and I will invite you. So he was mad his team wasn’t very good apparently.
Now I am not all that mad because all five games were a win but I am better the players on the other teams weren’t having that much fun.
Yeah, just not worth it. Like you, I keep trying BTB every so often, but it’s always the same. It’s almost as if the “Join In Progress” code is patented and they just don’t want to spend the money to license it. Shame on 343.
#6: avalanche territories, one quitter on my team was a tie game #7 H3 last resort 1 flag, all from the other team ended up quitting except one yoink, and two quit from my team. #8 H2A stonetown, 1 flag their team ended up with 4 quitters and my team had 2 quitters. #9 H4 meltdown slayer, one from my team, we lost a close but fun game. #10 H2A bloodline slayer one quit during the loading I think because it had a x by their gamer tag right before the game started then the game froze and kicked me to the dashboard so they may have been host as well.
So ten games and all ten had quitters. The games were still enjoyable for the most part I suppose. Then again lucky I wasn’t on the receiving end of a beat down due to the quitters.
Hey LethalQ I was on the oppsite team in game 10 on bloodline , the match actually started but you must have been booted for some reason as you left straight away.
It was a crap game anyway multiple people on both sides quit.

Yeah I don’t know what happened there I just got booted to the dashboard right as the game was starting.
#11 H3 longshore slayer only one quitter on my team but we lost as well #12 H4 vortex slayer two quit on the other team and game starts 8v6, we get a nice lead of course then surprisingly only two more quit from their team #13 H4 ragnarok, two from other team quit. #14 H4 dominin NO QUITTERS! And it was a win #15 H3 last resort territories two from my team quit as it was a one sided beat down.
So far out of 15 games only ONE ended with full teams.
Funny that you posted this. I just tried BTB again myself today. I honestly don’t know why I expected it to be any different. Quitters galore. It’s not just the quitters though that ruin that playlist. It’s also people who betray for weapons, people who betray just to be yoinks, and people who just don’t play (AFKs). I’ve kept telling myself never again after I’ve played it, only to find myself coming back hoping maybe I’ll have some luck and it’ll be different. This time though I mean it. I’ve truly given up on that playlist.

Haven’t seen any betraying for weapons at least on my team and only a couple AFKs
I’ve found quitting to be a huge problem in BTB and some of the title-specific playlists as well. The temporary ban system should definitely be implemented into MCC to prevent quitting!
My 20 game BTB breakdown… only 3 out of 20 games ended with full teams. 2 games fail to load for whatever reason.

the fail to load was a H2A and a H4…
I’d be very curious to know how many players, in the games that finished with intact teams, were “present but absent.” You know, how many had 2 kills, 17 deaths - that kind of thing?
