There are a ridiculous amount of posts about this and no response from 343. The problems have been clearly identified and solutions have been offered. The ball is in 343’s court. The primary reason I purchased MCC was to experience classic big team battle. In its current condition, we do not have hit or miss matches. The reality is, the fun is completely missing. I want to say 9/43 maps in the playlist are halo 3 maps, less than a quarter. Yet, nearly nearly all the matches I play, in cross-game playlists, on a given day, are H3. If Halo 3 does not win the vote, a substantial amount of people quit. Frankly, even with Halo 3 winning most of the votes, a notable amount of people are likely to quit those games as well. I have been following MasterCh1ef87’s ‘SPLIT BTB’ thread almost since he started the thread; which is not posted the support forums, but, in my opinion, it is easier to find than this thread. I am more passionate about this subject than I am about being against micro-transactions. Hence, I will not be purchasing any products from the game company 343 Industries until it is shown they put the game before the company.

I don’t think there’s any arguing with this fact, to be honest. The MCC was so messed up, and with Halo 5’s release following pretty soon after the release of the Collection, that after all the attempts at fixing all the major issues the game had, there was no time to fix the little things (like quit early bans, or voting systems). It is a bit of a shame, because whenever I play the MCC BTB, I got either H2A or H3 maps - which I don’t really hate, but I’d love some classic Halo 2 or even some Halo CE thrown into the mix. Halo 4 I could do without, there are still plenty of matches on 360, but I totally get your pain. I think 5 out of my last 10 matches in BTB were on Avalanche.
I’m glad you found your way here, thetimewarptrio. I wish the narrative was more positive. I know I’m far from the only one with the grievances specifically mentioned above, though. I can say, without bias, this is one of the most important issues to a significant portion of the community. If given proper attention, I wouldn’t be so convinced the responsibility of working on Halo is in bad hands.
