Btb needs some love

Long time btb player offering some suggestions. Right now I feel this btb mode is set up to be the worst seen in the franchise to date. I just Havnt been having fun playing it, I understand this is technically still in beta stages but there’s a lot going on here that I think is trending in the wrong direction.

  1. Player outlines on 12 player team maps are not the play. Sneaky flanks are almost impossible now with this outline that’s basically like putting up a sign saying “over here! I’m sneaking up on you, Come shoot me! “

  2. Sidekick AR is not the play. BR starts seems like a contentious issue which I personally don’t understand. Every good btb has had ranged precision weapon starts until now. I don’t know what pleases the majority but I do know it’s not sidekick AR. This starting loadout is for the birds.

3 These random weapon pods are not the play. Controlled power weapon/power up spawns are. I’ve been moving around the map and picked up OS and rockets for completely free in the most random spots I don’t know how many times. This really dilutes the experience that is classic btb map and asset control. This plays more like H5 super btb fiesta sometimes.

4 pelican drops could be fun, but the way they are currently set up is not the play. I would think one powerful drop in a neutral location is a better play. 2 teams battling it out for a scorpion about to drop is what btb is all about imo. The set up right now is just silly. I prefer old school vehicle spawns and not waiting until the end of the game for powerful vehicles.

  1. That collecting seeds gamemode, 100 percent not the play. It’s terrible. Full stop.

I like the map look and design for the most part. Loot caves are a neat addition. Warthogs are fun. Most of the gametypes I like aside from stockpile. Most of the weapons are fun, some need work (bulldog).

There is a good foundation here. But changes are needed going forward.
