So far I love Halo 5. Arena and campaign are great, but BTB isn’t the casual release I had hoped it would be. Even though there are vehicles on the maps, they are almost never used. The maps are just too small and not open enough. BTB isn’t the fun vehicle gameplay that it should be; it’s just slayer with 8 people instead of 4. I really hope that 343 remakes or takes inspiration from great maps like Blood Gulch or Valhalla and stop trying to put buildings all over the place so people can use their spartan abilities. Right now BTB isn’t what it should be but I have hope 343 will fix it.
I like them. Big enough to spawn next to an enemy but small enough that action is always close. I don’t like walking around for 5 minutes just to get killed and sent back for a stroll again.
I wish the maps were a bit bigger. The tank in recurve is about worthless since there is no room what so ever for it. It really should be either a banshee or mantis.
BR’s being able to destroy vehicles so casually and rail guns being the easiest power weapon, don’t help Vehicle play at all
But besides that I miss hemmoragh as a BTB map, oh and Valhalla
When Forge is released, make a bigger map then.
