Maybe the casual community now understands how the competitive side has felt for the past 5 years. Only difference is that nothing has changed for you, while we just get to see the ranks that were always there before, and can still be completely ignored by anyone who chooses to do so.
Just like the early Halo you where Ranked. Halo 2? Halo 3? They all had ranking based on performance. So play how you play and get matched with ppl at ur level. right now you will see all kinda of skills because people are still getting ranked and matched. It will only get worse once the X-mass crowd comes in. So do your work now so when a new batch of players come in you are a king

Yes but forcing you to play higher skilled players is not fun. Who cares about the competitive community?

Halo is struggling on twitch because no one wants to watch sweaty tryhards.

Hard to play casually with tryhards in every Match and lack of casual gametypes

You are absolutly right but we all know Forge is coming and with it Custom games and Social games are coming aswell.

If you lose very badly then back out after the game and get into a new lobby.

It’s an FPS game, there are try-hards in every one, even in the casual gametypes. I personally find those people help me get better as I play against them.
