BTB Is much better as a 10 vs 10 mode

Hi yall, i was wondering what was your opinion on the current state of BTB.

I think Halo infinite BTB is ok -not my favourite to be honest- but right now, due to server issues, they changed the mode to be 10 vs 10 instead of the usual 12 vs 12 and i have to say… i think BTB is better this way:

  • Less random while still chaotic and fun
  • Vehicles have more room to shine since there are less spartans destroying them
  • IMO it promotes a more strategic use of vehicles and power weapons
  • Increases the need for teamwork

What do you think?

I wish i could get a game of btb. Ive tried litterally for hours over the last 8 days and have played maybe 4 games, none since they “fixed” it.

Honestly, i prefer 12 v 12, 10 v 10 feels alright but the maps are pretty big for anything smaller. I havent really seen any increase of teamwork, and randomness and chaos is a strong component of what makes BTB feel like BTB, so less of that just ruins it a bit. I think they should make more maps catered to a form of BTB that does have less players tho, but right now, maps for BTB are pretty big, so 24 people helps it feel less empty, even if its just 4 extra people, smallest changes can make the biggest difference.
