Again. This game is great. Just wanted to express my grief with big team infinity slayer. Having any vehicles on this game is absolutely pointless. The ability to receive weapons drops and get any explosives or snipers out of it is crazy. Too many times have we had full hill control on ragnarok and been driving around in a warthog or mantis and get lasered by the other team. We got laser in the beginning but since they sat back and were slowly earning kills they were rewarded with anti-vehicle weapons. Yesterday my team had two spartan lasers, two sniper rifles ans a binary rifle. That just isnt fair. 343 has to come up with a way to make it a little more beneficial to be in a vehicle.
I got a perfection in a wraith the other day going 24-0. I’ve had numerous 10 to 15 kill streaks in warthogs and banshees. And the Ghost can not only splatter now, but it’s guns are finally able to kill someone in a decent amount of time.
I think the balance is downright beautiful. Sure, sometimes you’ll grab a vehicle and someone will have a laser waiting but that’s the chance you take in getting in a vehicle in the first place.
So in other words people stand a chance against vehicles now?
Oh the humanity.

I would up the Warthog armor… one sticky to blow it up on small maps is not fun.
im 100% against you, ppl need anti-vehicle weapons when the map has warthogs, ghosts, banshees and mantises all on the same map. im FOR regular RL weapon spawns at bases, and a laser in the middle of the map just like in halo 3
I don’t get that annoyed by it. Most players are only going to get 2 or 3 drops in game and some will get less. Not every drop is going to be a vehicle killer anyway. How many times have you had to choose between overshield, plasma grenades and a needler? Or a concussion rifle, scattergun and some pulse grenades? I personally love the unpredictability that ordinance drops offer. Keeps the game from feeling rote.

I don’t like it at all, there is no reason i should get into a banshee and be killed in 10 seconds of flying around, because they either have 5 power weapons or they have 6 power weapons.
So, in other words, they found out a way to bring down a team running around strictly in vehicles? Sounds like a balanced game to me. You driving around in vehicles gaining full control of Ragnarok is a perfect example of an unbalanced game. Since they can come back from you doing that, it is balanced. I like how once the game’s challenging for you and you can’t just camp in the vehicles you complain. Anyways, great ordinances like that are rather rare. I typically get a sticky detonator, plasmas, needler, or an over shield.
