Obviously there’s plenty those who didn’t get much out of the hotfix, but for me in particular BTB appears to be working fine now. Played over half a dozen games and I wasn’t caught in any more ‘Cannot Connect to Server’ pop-up cycles, didn’t have to close my game and restart it, and when I join there’s the full 24-player list with any leavers being the ones who decide to quit when they see their team losing.
So the hotfix actually fixed it for me, which is a shame since it seems like there won’t be BTB Challenges next week.
For technical information, I’m playing on an Xbox Series X so I’m curious if there any others running it and have gotten the same fortune, making it look like an issue plaguing PC gamers more, or if I’m really that lucky.
How many players in your lobby or just joining solo? My experience is the connection to game issues are when you have more than 3 players in a lobby trying to play which is one of the main points of BTB. I’d never intentionally play BTB solo but I have been able to join games if needing to complete challenges…albeit it takes a good few attempts and restarts to actually get in a game.

So far they’ve all been solo games. Lifestyles and obligations makes it difficult for me to play with friends and family - plus said friends and family are also taking a break and waiting for Infinite to become a more complete game, lol.
I’ve been trying BTB today - out of ~10 times 2 times I’ve got a few disconnected from server messages, then I got a game of 2 vs 4, and around 7 was normal 12 vs 12… It seemed to me that when I finally connected to a good game, next ones were more likely to be good connections too, but I’m not sure if it’s a rule…
I just take a book to read while I try reconnecting in the beginning… As for today, I haven’t been banned for ‘disconnecting’ from a game yet…
Solo queue. Get a lot of server error messages. It takes time to find a match.
