What are your thought’s?
Personally my friends and I loved playing BTB heavies in Halo: Reach.
It was awesome in Halo 4.
I remember heavies in Halo 3 on Sandtrap and it was a blast as well.
I definitely think heavies should be added. As it stands now there are no maps with a Scorpion, Mantis, or Phaeton in BTB. There was a Mantis on Gullotine and a Scorpion on Recurve initially but they were taken out (needed change IMO) because of the layout of those maps. The main problem I see, and most posts I have seen agreed, is that we lack truly open BTB maps like Valhalla and Sandtrap.
Heavies was the most fun I had in Halo 4, with what little there was. Would be fun to have a power play kind of playlist.
Played some in the old halos and loved it. What is better then sniping a tank? Perhaps hitting the sniper with the tank haha
I agree especially seeing that most of the low level guys don’t have the opportunity or the skill to get to the point to use the phaton or mantis plus I need phaton destroyer medals so I look forward to blowing you out of the sky with the spnkr

I have found to enjoy the one kill I get with a Phaton before you find me haha. Alas I only need 1 more kill to get to level 2 for the “kill with Phaton” hahhahahha
I really can’t express how awesome it would be to have Heavies back ! As previously mentioned, the time spent playing that gametype on H4 was most satisfying. I can list at least 20 friends that migrated to H5 that speak about heavies on a daily basis. MAKE THIS HAPPEN !
Heavies would be fun. I liked playing it except on forge maps in Reach since it would cause screen lag.
Would love to see Heavies as a weekend playlist to begin with. If it proves to be popular enough, it’d be cool to have it added to regular BTB.
I was really hoping it was going to be part of the BTB playlist in Halo 5. It was so much fun in 4
Why isn’t this a thing yet? Oh well, at least I have a pistol that looks like french fries.
No chance of heavies being added in this game sadly. Just look at the current state of BTB. Horrendous maps that barely feel like traditional BTB maps and barely encourage vehicle play, game modes like Assault still not implemented, pretty much still the same maps we’ve had for months now.
343 just don’t want to put the effort in where BTB is concerned, despite BTB being one of the most popular Halo playlists for many years. It would detract from their REQfest aka Warzone.
yes… I agree! Heavies is needed in H5. They have so many good vehicle options and the vehicle game play is pretty balanced. No reason not to showcase it in heavies.
YES YES YES!!! Heavies should be added to BTB playlist however we need new open world maps like hemmorage in Reach to play on.
If they added new maps, I’d enjoy Heavies.
