Btb games not giving me my full amount of kills

In the BTB playlist after I finish a game the carnage report doesn’t match the amount of kills I actually received during the game. For example I will get 41 kills in a game and have 10 deaths but when I hit the back button to view the carnage report it’ll show only half, maybe less, of the amount of kills I actually had like 23 kills and 10 deaths. I dont know or understand why it’s doing this, I am not cheating or boosting, you can view my game history, but it’s a bit messed up because I’m not getting the kills I deserve. You can see on my bungie service record and see that the score will be 41 but once you click on the carnage tab it will only show 23 kills recorded. Is anyone else having this problem?

Those aren’t kills, they’re points. BTB heavies allots 2 points for headshot kills and (I think) melee kills. The stats are correct.

There are several ways to earn kills that reward 2 points on the scoreboard. I believe that Splatters and Sticking people also add 2 points for your 1 kill.
