I’m on the Xbox Series X console and since the last update (May 11th) and the Halo Infinite Update, I’ve started to experience game freezes that last for 2-5sec and, most recently, a freeze that required me to reboot the console. My network is at 15-20ms ping and all networking streamlining (QOS, port forwarding,etc) has been done. Freeze doesn’t happen with other games.
When the freeze happens, the screen freezes and my controller vibrates until it unfreezes. My player continues in whatever direction they were moving during the freeze, so when it unfreezes I’m down the road at whatever pace I was moving.
- Is this a known bug?
- Is this an Xbox Series X console bug or Halo Infinite?
Trying to detect if I just need to wait for 343 to fix Halo, Microsoft to fix Xbox, or if my Xbox is defective & I need to return it.
