BTB Feedback.

New map is enjoyable, visual great. Seems to flow nice and doesn’t feel unbalanced in it’s geography. Reminds me of a mix of Valhalla, Blood Gulch and Timberland.

I enjoyed the presented game modes as well. CTF is meant to be played on BTB. And Slayer is slayer. Strongholds is also a fun neutral ground between Warzone and traditional BTB with the vehicle spawns and weapons cashes.

However I find myself missing the traditional style all over again. I miss all vehicles being on the map to start. I miss weapons, power ups and vehicles being placed in a story like manner. And I miss power weapons being more limited in spawning rate and availability.

If I had my way, BTB would return to it’s roots and a Hybrid of Halo Reach’s Invasion and Halo 5’s warzone would take the place of these more modern game modes and styles.

I’m loving the changes, just because it gives the game better pacing and flow and opens the doors for a comeback when one team is down.

It does play a little more like BTB Fiesta than your traditional BTB modes.

As for the map, it’s a little large for the team sizes used. And, you can tell 343i knew this which is why they created a Labyrinth-like design to close off lines of site and create more mid to close ranged battles.
