In BTB games, it seems like enemies disappear once they reach a distance threshold away from the player(in this case, it’s me). The highlight color disappears as well. But as soon as I scope in, they appear. This is bad, I should be able to see everything from any distance and from the hip or scoped. This is going to be a HUGE FLAW for the upcoming battle royale. Maybe this is a PC glitch, idk, I been playing with the settings so much, I give up. 
Must be a specific glitch or something cause I never had that happen at all in BTB whether PC or Xbox. Can see everyone clearly from across the map with the highlights.

i haven’t had this issue either. i’ve played on both X1 and XsX. I suggest you put in a ticket on the support site so they can look into it.
You should make a custom game (unless this is online only) and test it there with a friend and bots? Otherwise I don’t know- You may think someone far away disappeared, but they could’ve slid crouched underneath something or used a stealth cloak-
If there’s a draw/render distance in the settings you may have messed with, you could check that as well.
