I tried to complete the challenge called ‘‘Lead zappin’’ which requires you to get kills with the Disruptor, after four games of BTB where I had gotten multiple kills with the gun I gave up.
I decided to do other challenges that required completions in Quick Play and in those matches I picked up the Disruptor, I got my kills, lo and behold, I completed the challenge.
am I missing something or does BTB really not count as PVP matches?
I’ve had challenges like that track in BTB matches before, I think there’s a bug that causes some challenges not to track. See if you can’t get any progress on the challenge in Arena instead of BTB and see if it works. If it’s consistent, I’d recommend making support ticket on their support site. I probably make it ticket anyways if it happens enough.
Please for the love of god read the entire post. I HATE when people give suggestions on what to do when I’ve already done that.

BTB does count for PvP wins I can confirm. I think the challenges themselves are sometimes bugged though. I had a bulldog kill challenge last night where the first kill counted in BTB but two others didn’t. I specifically watched the kill feed to ensure that I got the kills, they just didn’t count.

This happens EVERYTIME you ask a question online, people are just lazy and I don’t have time for them, simple as that.

I ALWAYS have problems with challenges tracking in BTB. Most recently with sword kills.
